We’re a husband and wife team with over 35 years experience in filming and production.
Mike Bennett started his media career as a radio presenter quickly moving into TV news and sports filming for ITV Anglia in the UK in 1988. Mike purchased his first video camera in 1984 and formed MBI Video primarily as a wedding and sports filming business in that year. Since then, his pictures have been used by TV companies and news outlets worldwide.
Mike was the co-executive producer of the critically acclaimed DVD ‘Send it Sideways’ The life and times of Darcy Ward Speedway Champion.
He is currently the president of Queensland’s favourite community radio station 101FM and presents the Monday morning show on the station.
Tracey Bennett is a highly trained camera operator with vast experience filming weddings, sporting and theatrical events. Her absolute favourite filming work is everything and anything to do with weddings. She loves the process of filming the bride preparing for her big day and takes great pride in the fact many couples tell her those candid shots made their wedding video even more unique. Don’t tell anyone but she has been known to cry at weddings – but never during filming!
